Prancing Horses - SOLD
This double door and frame comes from the West Indian state of Gujarat. The uniquely shaped doors are separated into multiple panels which are carved and adorned with metal studs. The ornately carved frame has large brackets on top that are carved into horses. This is a one of a kind door that would be a distinctive addition to any building.
This wooden door from India is between 80-100 years old. It was made by skilled craftsmen from solid Teak and carved with traditional Mughal patterns and metalwork. This door combines strength for security along with artistry for beauty and devotion. It is offered in its original condition, which shows normal wear.
